The Brief

We were invited by our client GOLIN for the 6th successive year to capture content at the Cannes Film Festival at the unique MAGNUM pop-up beach event space. The project involved capturing celebrity talent in a panel discussion, an ice cream dipping bar moment, and a glamorous red carpet, with media from across the globe attending. The content was required to be distributed to UNILEVER’s global social channels, as well as news outlets.

The Solution

This project required a significant amount of resources to not only capture the various elements but also edit them with a speedy turnaround. We took 12 people to Cannes, including 3 photographers, 2 videographers, 3 editors, and 3 producers. The celebrities we worked alongside and directed included Eva Longoria, Nicole Scherzinger, JVKE, Stella Maxwell, Irina Shayk, Josephine Skriver, and Cindy Bruna. In addition to the main event day, we produced content on a pre-day for 58 social media influencers from all MAGNUM brand territories, including ambassadors from Morocco, Turkey, Italy, Belgium, and more.

The Results

When the Global Brand Lead (VP) of UNILEVER name checks our work on our Instagram channel with the phrase ‘A master class as ever’, we know the content was well received. Multiple hits for our stories and content on Mail Online, Hello Magazine, The Sun, The Mirror, Instyle, Variety, Yahoo and thousands more – we will hopefully be back at the Cote D’Azur in 2024
