2K NBA Foundations - PA Media
The Project

2K NBA Foundations

The Brief

PA Media was commissioned to create a PR Photo and Video content for international markets as 2K Foundations Teams Up with NBA® 2K22 cover Star Luka Dončić to dedicate two basketball courts to his hometown Ljubljana to refurbish his childhood courts with a design inspired by his love of basketball. 2K Foundations is the philanthropic arm of 2K that supports and inspires underserved communities by directly investing in local enrichment programs. The time frames we worked with were tight as international sports media were highly interested in this story and we translated the content into 8 different languages in real-time whilst handling a vast amount of content data and approvals process across time-zones.

The Solution

We filmed the players with children and a busy public environment with 3 video camera set-up and 2 photographers operating reportage style to capture the pace and action  – with stabilised easy-rigs. Having fixers in Slovenia was key as was drone footage for scale and full site of the location. We offered the client full pre-production, a steer on editorially worthy questions, as well as a slick production with highly experienced operators.

The Results

We created branded A-Roll edits for our client, as well as social edits and a newsy A-Roll/B-Roll for PA Media, we then translated into 8 different languages. The content was picked up by the CNN, NBC, Daily Mail and 65+ online media articles plus millions of likes on Luka’s social channels
