Our TV Metadata team is growing

Santino Jayajothy is the new Client Executive and latest addition to our TV Metadata team, we caught up with him to find out find out what he’s looking forward to in his new role, his proudest moment and what he gets up to in his free time.

1. What attracted you to PA TV Metadata?

My background is in TV and film and in my previous role I worked as an Account Manager for a Video-on-Demand (VoD) service. This opportunity with PA TV Metadata as a Client Executive, is a natural progression in my career development in this space. Also, I’m a huge fan of TV and film and my interview was one of the best I’ve ever had, and I was made to feel welcome by the team before I had even started my role!

2. What excites you about this new role?

PA TV Metadata is a well-respected brand in the broadcasting industry. It’s an amazing opportunity to work with an exciting portfolio of products and services and to learn more about them. A few years ago, I had an idea about a service which could help viewers to find their favourite TV shows and films, and I discovered PA TV Metadata has a solution with its upcoming product Where to Watch which helps audiences to achieve this.

3. What are you looking forward to in your role?

I’m really looking forward to establishing long-lasting business relationships with both new and existing clients and supporting them with the array of products and services using my previous experience in TV asset management.

4. What’s an accomplishment you’re proud of?

I started a football academy for children aged 4-14 in my area. We have been playing football every weekend since June 2021. I’ve also developed an After School Club programme with a local primary school and I’m in the process of establishing another one soon.

5. What do you like doing when you’re not at work?

I’m an avid hiker so you might catch me at one of the three peaks this year. Besides hiking, I enjoy going for long walks, visiting museums and galleries and trying out new adventures.

6. What’s your favourite TV programme?

When it comes to TV shows, I’ll have to say it’s a close call between Suits, Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones.
