What does an Online Press Centre offer?

When clients choose one of PA Medias Online Press Centres the package comes with the following:

What’s not included with an Online Press Centre?

When you purchase our Online Press Centre service, please note that the below services are NOT included:

When we receive your press release and begin the building stage of your Online Press Centre, it must be the final signed off version. We do not offer any form of writing service.

Whilst we can guarantee your press releases distribution to the thousands of PA Explore’s users and media outlets, we cannot guarantee the pick-up. This is based purely on editorial criteria, based on the strength of the press release, if they think it’s worth a story, and the current news cycle. While we always guarantee distribution, we can’t guarantee coverage as that depends on an editorial decision-making process.

How do I get the most out of an Online Press Centre?

To get the most from your Online Press Centre and Press Release Distribution we recommend the following tips:

We always encourage you to illustrate your Press Centre with multimedia assets including images, and video where possible. We recommend 3 -5 images for the Press Centre, 3 of which will be sent through PA’s national newswire.

The more interesting you can make your release the more potential interest you can generate from journalists.

Whilst we recommend to keep your release short, your Online Press Centre does not have a character limit.

Your online Press Centre can be used to host all the information you wish to include.

However due to formatting requirements for the national newswire we recommend that your wire version of the press release is no more than 8,000 characters long including spaces.

You will also have an additional 4,000 characters to use for any notes to editors. Your newswire version will also contain your unique URL which journalists use to view your Online Press Centre.

We always encourage you to share your unique URL with your own press contacts as part of your wider campaign. Your unique URL can be used internationally as users don’t need to log into the site to download your assets.

What do I need to provide for an Online Press Centre?
