Bridgid is PA Media’s award-winning Director of Media Training, named ‘Outstanding Woman in Professional Services’ at the 2018 Precious Awards for her media training and communications work across the public and private sectors. She is a specialist in coaching high-profile speakers and spokespeople ahead of media interviews and public speaking and advises comms clients on media relations, crisis strategy and message development. Before moving into corporate communications Bridgid was a broadcast journalist for 20 years. She is a former Channel 4 News presenter/reporter and presenter for ITV News.

Amelia Gentleman,
Journalist at The Guardian and author of ‘The Windrush Betrayal, Exposing the Hostile Environment
Amelia Gentleman, is a reporter for the Guardian. She was named journalist of the year in 2018 for her investigations into the Windrush scandal, and also won the Paul Foot award, the Cudlipp award and an Amnesty prize for the reporting. Previously she won the Orwell prize for political journalism, and feature writer and specialist writer of the year at the British press awards. Her book The Windrush Betrayal, Exposing the Hostile Environment was shortlisted for the 2020 Orwell book prize.
She started her career as a trainee with the Press Association. Later she worked as Moscow and Paris correspondent for the Guardian and Delhi correspondent for the International Herald Tribune and New York Times.
