Video launches in PA Create

We are delighted to announce that PA video content will now be showcased on our next generation wire platform, Create.

We’ve been looking forward to upgrading the Create platform and the change means that PA customers can now instantly access video content linked to relevant stories.

If you are a current subscriber of the video service you’ll be able to instantly download the content you want, if not you will be given instructions on how to activate video.

Pete Clifton, PA’s Editor-in-Chief, welcomed the addition to the platform:

Our customers will be able to instantly see the excellent range of video we have available whenever they are searching for content or keeping up to date with stories as they break. About PA Video

PA has multi-skilled video journalists spread across the UK and Ireland covering diverse topics within the news agenda. We have a fantastic specialist video team based in London who work tirelessly every day to ensure our non-stop feeds of video are produced accurately and quickly.

The video team at PA creates up to 100 video edits each day ensuring customers have footage from the best stories. Video content breaks down into two main strands:

Newsroom Ready – Curated rushes with a length of up to four minutes.

Consumer Ready – Ready to publish video edits containing captions, subtitles and graphics.

PA will also continue to offer video and audio content via its dedicated archive library here. The archive contains around 200,000 digitised clips spanning a decade of coverage including the biggest political, royal and sporting events through the years.
