PA's CEO elected president of EANA

PA Group’s Chief Executive, Clive Marshall, has been elected the new president of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) at its General Assembly in Split, Croatia.

Clive, who was elected ahead of George Penintaex, the Acting Director and Editor-in-Chief of the CNA agency in Cyprus, will hold the role for a two-year term.

Outgoing EANA president Peter Kropsch, the Austrian Press Agency’s Chief Executive, thanked member agencies for supporting him during his term leading the alliance.

Clive Marshall is in attendance at the event alongside PA’s Managing Director Tony Watson and Editor Jonathan Grun.
